Terms of Service

Usage terms and conditions for VeriOps.

Last updated: January 2026

1. Service Description

VeriOps provides industrial decision authority services. The service analyzes equipment data and provides decision states (S0-S3) with confidence levels and rationale. Decisions are advisory and should be evaluated in context of your specific operational requirements.

2. Decision Disclaimer

VeriOps decisions are based on the data provided and validated physics-based analysis. However, all operational decisions remain the responsibility of the user. VeriOps provides decision support, not guarantees. Users should apply professional judgment and consider site-specific factors when acting on VeriOps recommendations.

3. Credits and Payment

VeriOps operates on a credit-based system:

  • Credits are consumed when decisions are issued
  • Refusals (insufficient evidence) do not consume credits
  • Credits do not expire
  • Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all equipment data you upload. VeriOps does not claim ownership of your data. Decision artifacts generated are owned by you and may be exported at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload malicious or fraudulent data
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the decision engine
  • Share account credentials
  • Use the service to make safety-critical decisions without appropriate review

6. Limitation of Liability

VeriOps is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for decisions made based on VeriOps output. Maximum liability is limited to credits consumed for the decision in question.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, unused credits may be refunded per Section 3. Your decision history will be retained for 30 days after termination to allow export.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
